As dancers our vision is to enter into God’s presence and worship Him through dance.  We work together with the worship team to lead the congregation into worship during our Shabbat and Holy Day services. We see dance as a scriptural way to worship God with our whole heart, soul, mind and strength.

Our dance is choreographed, and done in a group format, so as not to draw attention to the individual.  It is purely a form of worship, seeking only to glorify God.

The dance circle in the front of the sanctuary is reserved for people who are a part of the dance ministry and are mature worshipers of God.  We also have a circle in the back of the sanctuary where anyone is welcome to dance, no past dance experience needed.
We are available for outreaches at churches, schools, nursing homes, weddings, and other special events.

We offer beginners dance classes for any who are interested in becoming part of the dance ministry.  The dance ministry produces a Chanukah program each year.  This is an opportunity for people with various talents, such as acting, set design, directing and production, sound and lighting.  Any who want to participate are welcome, no prior dance experience necessary.

The dance minister is Gail Bruce, and she may be contacted through the Roeh Israel office for information on classes or special events.  Our steering committee works together to determine the direction of the ministry and to make any decisions concerning the dance ministry.  The steering committee members are:
Gail Bruce, Victoria Gonzales, Pam Ledbetter, Patty McMaster,

Kim Pearce, Bonnie Sherrill, Emily Young
